Who's Behind Worn In Public

Worn In Public is a graphic streetwear brand built by people who got tired of keeping their thoughts inside. We make bold, unapologetic clothing for the people who say what others only think — one tee, hoodie, and printed opinion at a time. Conceived where thoughts actually exist — sorry if that's unfamiliar territory.

Tom — The Brain Behind Worn In Public

Tom, founder of Worn In Public

Just some Gen Z with too many opinions and zero filter.

Here's the thing nobody tells you in school: most of it is useless. Not the math you'll never use. Not the history they already edited. The real lesson they forgot to teach? Nobody's coming to hand you a life. You want something real? You build it yourself.

I sat in classrooms being told what to think, how to sit, when to speak. And I thought – why? Why am I memorizing formulas for a system that doesn't even remember my name? So I stopped waiting for permission. I invented myself. One sarcastic hoodie at a time.

The younger generation isn't loud enough because nobody's listening. We're told to be "realistic." Told to follow the path. Told to be grateful for a system that was built before we were born – and not for us.

Screw that.

Worn in Public isn't just a clothing brand. It's a middle finger to the idea that you need a degree, a desk, or their approval to matter. It's for the kids who know school didn't teach them courage. Who know the system isn't designed for them to win. Who are tired of keeping their thoughts inside because adults said "that's not appropriate."

Your voice belongs on your chest. In public. On your terms.

So yeah. I dropped out of the "good student" act. I created something instead of complaining. And you can too. Or just buy a hoodie and let it speak for you. Either way – I heard you. Now the world will too.

Gil — The Quiet Kid With the Printer

Gil, co-founder of Worn In Public

The quiet kid who finally got a printer. Now your hoodies do the talking. You're welcome. 😏

Here's the thing no one tells you about being quiet: you're not empty. You're full. Full of thoughts too big for small talk. Full of things you'd say if anyone actually listened. So you learn to keep it inside. Roll it around. Let it grow.

I spent years watching people shout and say nothing. Loud opinions. Empty noise. And I thought – what if silence had a voice? What if the things we're afraid to say became the first thing someone sees?

So I bought a printer. And a blank hoodie. And I started manifesting.

Manifestation isn't magic. It's deciding what you want the world to see – and then becoming it. Not waiting. Not asking. Just making.

School taught me how to follow instructions. Life taught me how to create my own. The system wants you dependent. Wants you quiet. Wants you grateful for scraps. I want you unstoppable.

Worn in Public isn't revenge. It's not anger. It's art you can wear. Every print is a conversation I was too quiet to start. Every hoodie is a thought I finally let out. Every customer? A kindred spirit who gets it.

Your thoughts are not too much. Your voice is not too weird. Your inside monologue belongs outside.

So manifest loudly. Wear your deeper self. And let the quiet kids finally speak – one hoodie at a time.

Dave — The Dad. The Bank. The Wild Card.

Dave, co-founder of Worn In Public

The dad who writes the checks, drives too fast, and never learned to play it safe.
"You're gonna print sarcasm on hoodies? Finally. Someone with guts."

Here's the thing about being Gen X: we were supposed to be the rebellious ones. Then we got mortgages. And minivans. And suddenly everyone expected us to be responsible.
Boring. Not today.

I've got speeding tickets older than Tom. I've quit jobs that made me miserable with nothing lined up. I've bet on stupid ideas that somehow worked. And I've lost big too. But safe? Never been my style.

School told me to color inside the lines. I drew new ones. They said get a safe job. I got five weird ones instead. They said settle down. I'm still looking for the next adventure.

So when Tom came to me with "I want to print inside thoughts on hoodies" – most dads would say "get a real job."
I said "how many colors?"

Safe is a trap. Safe is what they tell you when they want you predictable. Controllable. Quiet.
I'm not quiet. Never was.

Yeah, I'm the bank. But I'm also the guy who says "print it bigger" when everyone says tone it down. I'm the one who says "that's offensive. Perfect. Ship it."
I'm the motivator who doesn't lecture – I just hand over the credit card and say "surprise me."

The younger generation doesn't need permission. They need a crazy person with a checkbook who isn't afraid to lose. That's me.

Wild side? That's just Tuesday.
Never safe? That's the only way to live.
