Welcome to the Inside Voice.
You've been thinking it all day. The eye roll at the coworker who repeats themselves. The quiet judgment of the person who stopped mid-sidewalk to check their phone. The silent "I told you so" when someone finally realizes what you knew weeks ago.
You didn't say any of it out loud.
That's what this blog is for.
Worn in Public started as a clothing brand – hoodies, tees, hats, sweatshirts, shoes, even underwear – all printed with the sarcastic, honest, unfiltered thoughts you usually keep to yourself. Your inside voice. On the outside.
But some thoughts are too long for a t-shirt. Some observations need a few paragraphs. Some rants deserve a little more space than a hat embroidery.
So here we are.
Twice a week, we'll post about things that actually matter to millennials and Gen Z. Not the fluffy, "live laugh love" stuff. The real stuff.
What to expect:
Fashion – but not the "10 trends you need this season" kind. More like: why oversized is a personality, why your t-shirt speaks louder than you do, and why fast fashion can kick rocks.
Life – burnout, overthinking, decision fatigue, and why "I'm fine. Nothing is fine" is the most honest sentence you'll wear all year.
Social – doorway blockers, shopping cart abandoners, toxic positivity, and all the everyday ignorance that makes you quietly furious.
Practical – how to start something with zero money, how to stop overthinking the purchase, and why you don't need a 5-year plan. You need a pair of shoes.
We won't tell you to manifest better vibes. We won't say "everything happens for a reason." We won't ask you to be positive when you're not feeling it.
What we will do: make you laugh, make you nod, and make you feel a little less alone in your quietly judgmental, beautifully sarcastic, deeply honest inner world.
So read. Relate. Roll your eyes with us.
And when you're done? Go wear something that says it out loud.
– Tom, Gil & Dave
Gen Z chaos. Quiet manifestation. Gen X funding. No filter.
